General information

This Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect the personal information you give us when you use this site. We may change this policy from time to time. It takes effect on May 25, 2018.

If you provide personal information when using this website by which you can be identified, we will store and process your data only according to this privacy statement, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) of the European Union and with Austrian law.

Your information will only be stored for as long as necessary for tax, liability, or legitimate business reasons. We do not forward personal data to third parties unless required by law or for performing regular business, e.g., to fulfill our tax obligations.

If you provide your personal data in our webshop when making a purchase, we will use them only to process the transaction. We will send you product information only if you have agreed to this before.

Personal data collected during your visit may be used as detailed below.

When you browse our website

When you visit individual pages of our website, we keep a record of the following data:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type
  • External referrer
  • Visited pages
  • Access times
  • Amount of data sent

The combination of IP address and tracked pages is stored for at most 72 hours. We use this information to ensure technical correctness and integrity of our infrastructure as well as to detect and avert abuse, e.g., hacker attacks.

After the above duration, we anonymize the track records by removing the IP addresses and keeping only the host names in the external referrers. This means that we no longer know who created the track records. We use the track records to learn how our visitors use our website and to improve our products and services.

Our website is using cookies. Cookies are small files placed on your computer's hard drive that make it identifiable. Cookies allow our website to respond to you as an individual and to tailor its operations to your needs. We store cookies for at most 3 weeks after your last visit of our website.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website, in particular, to use our webshop.

This use of your data is in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f of the GDPR.

When you browse our website after consenting to the use of Google Analytics

We use web services from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to analyze website usage and to assign targeted advertising to our users. If you have agreed to the use of Google Analytics on our website, our advertising activities can be optimized for you by the Google Ads Conversion Tracking service. The information generated by the cookies used is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. In any case, we only pass on your IP address to Google in anonymized form so that it is not possible to identify you as a user. You can object to this processing at any time using the opt-out option provided here. Further information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy.
